How to store wegovy?

Wegovy injection should be stored in the fridge when not in use (between 2°C to 8°C). This will ensure that it can be used until its expiry date.

Ensure that it is not stored below the temperature range or in the freezer, as it can lead to freezing. The Wegovy injection will remain in usable condition outside the fridge for 6 weeks as long as the temperature remains below 30°C. Therefore, once it is in use and you use it as per the manufacturer’s guidelines, it does not need to be refrigerated.

Important points to note:

• Do not use the Wegovy pen past the expiry date.
• Avoid it from freezing, and do not use it if it has been frozen.
• Do not use it if you notice that the solution is not clear and colourless.
• Always keep the pen cap on in order to protect it from direct sunlight.
