What is the golden dose (5th dose) Mounjaro?

The so-called “golden dose” refers to leftover liquid in the pen after four doses. This liquid is not meant for injection and exists only to prime the pen. Injecting it may cause side effects or lead to incorrect dosing. Always use only the prescribed doses. Future pen designs will contain minimal leftover liquid.
